There may be times when you can say that kind of thing to somebody face to face when you have won their trust, and then it may do some good. But this is not going to help anybody, I suspect.

Moreover, this post doesn't sound like you. Are you having a bad day? I do know that some of your days are less than pleasant to live through.

And as for the 'you can't be poor because you can afford internet' - Daheshist should apologise because he can afford to pay the few dollars needed in order to have some contact with other human beings? You remind me of the gentlemen from Dublin:

Flann O'Brien, The Poor Mouth (1964):

Just calling it as I see it, Chap. Nothing new or different there. If he didn't want comments from a different perspective, he shouldn't have started this thread.

Here are 2 women than 2 years ago were over 300 lbs. They are friends via youtube, both had lap band surgery. They were heavy when their husband's married them. Think of the potential Dahestist.

I prayed to God, at least 80 times, that He would make me sexually attracted to a FAT woman, because that was all I could get. Well......He never made fat women attractive to me. I asked, and asked, and tried, and tried. Never worked. Some men don't mind. Mind over matter. If you don't mind...it don't matter. But, I mind. Too bad for me. True, but I can't "pretend" to be in love with a woman, or attracted to one, when I'm not. Doesn't work, at least not for men.

I made about six thousand dollars, total, for the books I wrote that were published; those in my name and those I ghost wrote for others.

I don't own the books, and the publishers have no interest in putting them out there again. But, thanks for telling me about e-book and Nook! I may write another book or two and use those avenues. I've never thought about selling books via "Nook" or e-book before. Thank you.

Hey, is your book available as an e-book on Amazon or Nook? That might be a great way to generate a little extra income. E-books are a great new medium.

When I was active within the LDS Church, I couldn't even find a fat Woman that wanted to marry me.

Daheshist wrote:Runtu,

I'm glad you are feeling better. Most ex-Mormons aren't interested in any religion, because they've been "burned". Same is true for ex-WWCOGists, ex-JWs, ex-SDAs....they are no longer capable of believing in God or Prophets, because they've been burned. But, let me assure you, Dahesh was a Prophet! He appeared me to me in 2005. He's appeared to many others. He worked thousands of supernatural miracles, and many witnesses still alive today. If you can overcome the psychological reaction of being "burned" by religion, I would encourage you to read "The Book of Testimonies"; eyewitness accounts of Dr. Dahesh and his miracles. Dahesh was Jesus in a previous incarnation. He had power over the elements.
To read "The Book of Testimonies" just go to:

I did not say I'm not interested in religion. I just have looked into Daheshism and don't have any interest in it. It just didn't spark my interest.

I looked into the same oil industry training. In Price right? Anyway, I look forward to reading your book.

Nope, it was in-house training. A guy from corporate in Houston is here until tomorrow giving a seminar about measuring and logging while drilling.

Runtu wrote:Lest Darrick thinks I'm ignoring his OP, I am still trying to figure out how to respond. I'm not particularly interested in Dasheshism, to be honest, but I appreciate that you want to help. I am not depressed and have not been for about 4 years, which is to me rather miraculous. I'll get back to the OP later, but I have 2 days of oil-industry training starting in about 30 minutes, so I probably won't be around much.

I consider myself a Christian, but I do enjoy reading about other religions.
