If false.

I would disagree. It would seem some people deserve exactly this.

For example, gay people. And Hindus. Also, the Chinese.

I would disagree, of course, but that's not the point of the thread.

I agree that it's the subject for another thread.

Come on Mormons - aren't you going to ask when Protestant Christians first started talking about 'imputed righteousness'?

And ask how they can be sure that the interpretations of New Testament Greek required to support that notion are correct? (Don't forget - there has to be a reason in the Bible, or it won't do. Protestants can't simply gesture at their burning bosoms to justify a doctrine, or tell you that they 'just KNOW'.)

Hoops, if you answer this please skip the 'you don't know the Bible' stuff, and give us the evidence and argument first time. Please? It makes it all more interesting ...

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Sounds hot and crispy to me.

And who is He talking about? Are you prepared to say that no one deserves hell?

That's a slippery slope, my friend.

Please enlighten us Hoops. Who deserves eternal fire?

He didn't mention me by name, but I think he may of had me at the back of his mind.

It is a slippery slope, my friend, and years of waxing my skis has put me far down it.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I can't think of a single person who deserves an eternal hell. Unless you can think of someone whose sins are infinite.

No one deserves to be tortured for an infinite amount of time.

Yup. Even Hitler - let's say he burns for 100 years for every Jew, homosexual, Jehovah's Witness, Romani etc that he killed. That's a long time, but it's not an infinite amount of time.

Okay. If that's your sense of justice, I can't argue with that. It would seem your position is unique. Well, you and the guy who agrees with you.
