What's your proof he wasn't.

Check with the members of his UofU student ward 1974-75, his law school classmates who were so taken by him that they did pro bono work on his UT defense (many of whom I have known), one of his UT defense attorneys who I happen to have known personally and have heard him lecture on the case, (who was a practicing Mormon and remained convinced until th 1980's the Bundy was innocent of the UT charges) news articles written at the time of his UT case, damn near any book ever written about him.

If I ask the church to see his baptism certificate do you think they'd let me?

Which for those who were there when he was at the UofU Law School was really strange because they knew he had already once been a Mormon.

The myths of Mormonism.

Yeah, he must have been thinking of Alice Cooper.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

You can find a quote from the missionary who baptized Bundy in this article: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=xb ... %2C1373449

It's been mentioned in nearly everything I've ever read about Bundy, and I recall it coming up during the time of his Utah murders. I used to see Bundy at Big Ed's back in the day. Perhaps I saw you, too, lulu?

To the effect that Bundy was the kind of guy that he wouldn't hesitate to fix up with his sister.

Since you haven't published in the area of Bundy studies Bot, your opinion isn't worth much.

Maybe, Big Ed's was north of the law school, near a corner, kind of across from Pioneer Memorial Theater, sort of by the old Institute? I forget how much I've forgotten.

lulu - wondering how gay bashing got introduced into this thread

That is indeed Big Ed's. Many law school types hung out there. When I was last there (2007) it looked exactly the same. Same carpet, furniture, student dive ambiance.

Looks like its still there. My heathen friends (the only kind I had in law school) used to go to lunch there.

Frugal Mormon that I was, I always brought a lunch from home. If my friends had left overs, they would bring them back from Big Ed's, lunch mouth that I am, they knew I would eat them.

To summarize, I guess I could say I know the food, but not the place that well.
