It says nothing at all about Mr Jackson; it merely critiques his book. Get over it.
The issue seems to be whether this attempted critique meets the minimum standards for critiques appearing in publications that represent themselves as in some way scholarly.
I am sure that Hevelius would welcome discussion of her writing. After all, isn't that why people publish stuff - in the hope that someone will be moved to respond? And of course Jackson seems to have done that, for a start.
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
pahoran, don't be jealous that some young condescending arrogant young upstary, who did not have the decency to fact check was published in the first of MI ...its ok, you'll.get your chance to communicate to real saints.

Wow. I am so shocked that the latest smear artist of LDS apologetics is a Republican.
i think she claims libertarian, interesting that she rated Newt higher than Romney, just goes to show that bitter and angry is drawn to bitter and angry.
Wow--it seems that Brant Gardner, Steve "Donkey Lips" Smoot and others have turned up in the "Comments" section an effort to chase Rev. Jackson away.

You sir profess to write a book about the LDS Church and you don’t even know the names of the Three Witnesses or what actually goes on in our Temples?
And if Jackson had included "what actually goes on in our Temples," DeLange's response would have been . . . . ?
Maybe someone should email Jackson the youtube link.
"And the human knew the source of life, the woman of him, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, 'I have procreated a man with Yahweh.'" Gen. 4:1, interior quote translated by D. Bokovoy.
And if he had included Joseph's comment that the witnesses to the Book of Mormon were a disreputable bunch of people, {much like the other participants}-- what would they have said then, without getting themselves in deeper?

Wow. I am so shocked that the only turd that floats to the top of the apologetic bowl to defend this nonsense is Pahoran, who will defend, well, pretty much anything connected to LDS apologetics, no matter how poor.

Yeah, well, libertarian with that kind of goofy list says to me, "Republicans just aren't crazy enough for me, so I threaten to vote libertarian until they get crazier."

Huh. Well, they don't want to lose a new recruit to the cause. So, gotta chase away the bully who dares to respond to her "review."
