Catalyst theorists don't like to quote Joseph Smith or his associates. They avoid the historical context altogether because it clearly demonstrates that a literal translation and interpretation is what Joseph Smith originally claimed. But today's theorists create a false scenario not based on the historical record. Their dishonest attempts to recreate history and form a new conclusion is completely contrary to Smith's own statements.
