Whatever Wade did to KA is between KA and Wade and not the postmo board. It is sort of like a marriage. The husband is speaking at an event and suddenly the wife bursts in and begins to bitch about the husband during the event. She gives her side in public and the poor guy is just making a speech at the event. Sounds bitter to me. Much better to work things out in private. So wrong! In so many ways!

First: ack, ick, gross!!! Wade....KA....marriage....that's just against nature, man! Geez, don't bring that stuff up in the Terrestrial forum, dude.

Second: Check how easily you come up with a narrative in which the man is the one rationally expoundng and the woman is the irrational and overly-emotional interloper. Just mark it out in terms of oppositinal pairs: male/female, rational/irrational, speaking/bitching, public/private, serious event/doing laundry...

Can you not see that the very assumptions that ground your perceptions are preventing you from quite literally "seeing all sides?" No wonder you can't grasp what the problem is.

The same thing goes for your understanding of "history."

If the "husband" launched into a vicious attack of his "wife" WHILE MAKING PUBLIC SPEECHES, then it is very appropriate for him to apologize publicly.

Wade, the "poor guy", attacked KA on a public internet forum. She is asking for an apology on a public internet forum.

I would dare say that no one ever expected Wade to make an apology, because, despite his pretenses otherwise, Wade sees problems only in the other, and not in himself.

Beastie, you seem to understand that the husband was making a public speech against the wife. I meant no such thing. The husband was just making a speech as wade is doing on postmo. Then suddenly the wife enters the thread and curses the husband (wade). This is what I meant. KA's post was uncalled for. It just showed that she has a chip on her shoulder. Instead she should work out her problem with wade on a person to person level. No reason to let others see the dirty laundry.

Well, the last time I looked, Wade is a man and KA is a woman. The man (wade) was making a speech and KA the woman interfered with a public shout during the speech. Did I miss something??
