She needs to. It's some good stuff. Actually I think that Western Civ [which usually is HIST 101 or thereabouts in the catalog meaning that its basic stuff] at the two colleges I've attended has been a required elective (at least one semester anyway as part of general electives). But it probably ranges from college to college. Either way. Pirate study up...there will be a test later on. :)
(Although it probably is a dreadful bore for physics students. But I hated Calculus and Biology so :P)

Pirate, I think you should post a physics quiz for those teeheeing at your lack of knowledge of the Lutherans. Then post a quiz on how those presumably 20+ years your senior may get off on telling someone 19 years old that they need to do some more reading and thinking and see if that pop quiz returns the result of rude?
