I find this really strange.

Spend more time with drunken male college students and go to more guy's night outs. Or if you'd like, I can suggest discussion boards to frequent that make ANYTHING that goes on here seem tame.

My experience supports truth dancer.

Gays, blondes - fair game for the Yahoos (sorry about that, gay blondes). But on the whole I have not found a special interest in mocking the disabled.

Obviously that tells us something about the company you keep.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I led a varied life and moved through many social circles. I consider this a net positive.

The Famous Pig Song
(Clarke Van Ness, music by F. Henri Klickmann)

'Twas an evening in October, I'll confess I wasn't sober,
I was carting home a load with manly pride,
When my feet began to stutter and I fell into the gutter,
And a pig came up and lay down by my side.
Then I lay there in the gutter and my heart was all a-flutter,
Till a lady, passing by, did chance to say:
"You can tell a man that boozes by the company he chooses,"
Then the pig got up and slowly walked away.

This is your barometer for appropriate behavior?? Yikes.
I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe / But at least I'm enjoying the ride.

No, it is not. I was pointing out that Truth Dancer saying that the only time she's heard such insults is on LDS Discussion boards suggests that she has led a very, very sheltered life.

As a sample for what other religious people sometimes say:

http://www.godhatesgoths.com/godhatesretards.html

For thoughts on and a gallery of the mentally handicapped and their potential to enslave us all to their will:

http://www.russophobe.com/

A random Intratubes person sharing his thoughts on the mentally challenged:

http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Retard

A news report on a rather cruel use a non-mormon found for the mentally challenged:

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id ... _article=1

That was one quick search. But don't worry, the LDS are most likely MUCH, MUCH worse.

Maybe you can find some skinheads to hang with to add more net to your positive.
