Yea, I figured that wasn't it. I just found it odd that this was the first website that came up when I searched. Hey LifeonaPlate, will you have lunch with me?

Sure, Kevin, I'd have lunch with you. I understand you aren't in Utah, so it likely won't happen any time soon.

Where at in Utah? I'm coming back in a couple of months and will be swinging by Orem where family live. I'm making a list of people to meet for the first time.

I rarely go that far south. The furthest I get is SLC.

Again, to the best of your understanding, why did Gee petition to have Prof. Ritner removed from his dissertation committee?
And if you won't say, why? Why is this a secret that needs to be kept? Particularly given the rather obvious fact that the silence can be used as a means of smearing Dr. Ritner?

Huh, anything more recent than two years ago?Daniel Peterson wrote:collegeterrace wrote: Huh, that's great.
Hey, just curious, does he bear his testimony of the Book of Abraham at these meetings? That really adds to his credibility ya know :)
Has he presented anything on the Book of Abraham to the JSSEA or the Coptic studies group at the UofU?
Here's a paper that he delivered at the fifty-eighth annual meeting of the American Research Center in Egypt, in Toledo, Ohio, on 20 April 2006, slightly modified for a general, non-Egyptologist audience:

Perhaps you were absent from that meeting.

Hey, Life, you're in Utah? How were you going to meet Scratch for lunch? He doesn't live in Utah.

I don't know. Maybe. I don't have a transmitting ankle bracelet on Professor Gee.
Look through some of your Egyptological journals.
Is two years simply too long ago for you? Ancient history? I wouldn't have imagined that two years would seem so long to an Egyptology buff like yourself.

This was pretty hilarious... Now whether or not Scratch meant to be funny by saying "Gee" or I've just been drinking bloody mary's at the phoenix airport for too long is an entirely seperate issue that probably deserves it's own thread.

What part of my disinclination to talk about this publicly do you find most difficult to grasp?

What part of my previously given explanation do you find most difficult to understand?
Mister Scratch wrote:Why is this a secret that needs to be kept?
It's not a secret. But it's not my story, and I don't think it's my place to plaster it all over a public message board merely to gratify your weird obsessions. I don't really see, to be frank, why it's your business.

In the hands of an avid defamation-enthusiast such as yourself, I don't doubt that virtually anything can be used as a means of smearing,
