Daniel,

You need to look at the irony of the post that he made. I wonder how many people will read that (assuming that any will read it at all) and totally overlook this:

The incessant vag-personal posting are boring.

The post he claims to have not read a "think" of, was a response to HIS personal remarks about me. Just scan up the thread and you'll see it.

Here, he claims that personal postings are boring when it was he who intiated personal postings. He completely hops over that fact (as I asserted often happens on a board), fails to address any points I raised and defensively criticizes my response to it.

It's an evasive measure on his part.

Don't be taken in by the words, look at the dynamic. It's quite interesting to observe!

Liz
Mormons love meetings. We have meetings to have meetings. LOL

Omigosh! That triggered a memory for me! The Baptists love committee's. One Sunday during the announcements portion of the worship service, the Pastor began to address the various committee's that had formed in the church/meeting times/issues and such as that and then followed up by announcing the new..

"Committee on Committee's"

I kid you not! The entire congregation burst out in laughter!

You made two specific references to my being a Moderator in the context of possibly revealing information to Jersey Girl.

Are you saying that you think that I would utilize my status as a Moderator to inform Jersey Girl, or any other poster, of who was, or was not, on your Ignore list?

First of all, I don't have the capability of viewing that information as a Mod. Shades and Keene probably do, because they have Admin status.

I have gone over this before, but will go over it again. As Mods, Scottie and I can:

Split threads
Delete posts
Delete threads
Edit posts
View IP addresses

Secondly, even if I COULD view who was on your Ignore List, that is your business. It would be unethical for me, in a Moderator role, to reveal that information to another poster.

I take offense to that insinuation. I would NEVER do something like that. If I did do something like that, I would expect Shades to revoke my Mod status.

That is a serious accusation.

Congratulations, solo. You ran off point right into the intellectual ditch on that one.

I get this dreadful feeling when I read you,
Your rants sound like more and more like an "Abuelitta Viejitta" I used to read here and MAD&d boards (whatever happened to her?).
You are not the one who doesn't stick discussing with the issues.

As for you Dyslexic DCP. Wether you accept it or not;
I am above the food chain, unlike you I do not lick anybody's paws, I have no masters, none.
And I would not hire you for a minimum wage, except I think you'd be a good greeter one of those pompous European Hotels I stayed.
Now go back and do your demeaning Q&A's with your flock.

I must have overlooked this in the shuffle.

No, I don't spend "alot of time watching certain posters activities on this board".

No, my "MOD friend" didn't tell me "this".

I made a freaking new topic thread wherein I copied your freaking "block list" directly from your freaking post and when Liz engaged you following that, I noticed that your freaking "block list" had disappeared.

No one CARES who is on your freaking "block list" and if you didn't freaking POST IT YOURSELF, no one would freaking have noticed that it was gone especially not the poster who was freaking POSTING TO YOU at the time.

Given that the above was written by one whose intellect is rivaled only by small appliances, I'm left to assume that this was the best you could do.

Show me a "rant" on my part, solo. Post it in the context of the exchanges where you think a "rant" appears.

Or you might try answering on point next go round.

For example, what does this mean in response to my comments to you?

It means exactly nothing in reference to what I've stated on this thread in my posts to you.

I cannot address comments that make no obvious sense, solo. That I point it out to you, isn't a "rant", it's how it feels to you when someone criticizes your composition.

What do you expect me to do when someone posts comments that make no obvious sense? Act as if they do make sense to make you feel better?

In your comments to DCP you mentioned Dyslexia. Should it happen that you yourself are dyslexic, all you need to do is tell me and I'll shorten my remarks to you so that we can communicate more easily.

If you want to inform me in that way, you can PM me to tell me. No one will be publicly the wiser, I won't share it with anyone else, and I promise you that I'll never use that knowledge as a form of insult to you on the board.

Yanno....every so often I throw out a zinger, don't I? You are not to be impressed by that. It's simply a desperate attempt to avoid laundry.

Which needs to go into the dryer right now....

Jersey Girl -

May I ask again how repetitive themes on RFM provide evidence supporting your premise that "many" exmormon posters on boards such as this spend as much time on these boards as they once spent on being an active Mormon?
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Sure, beastie. In my observation, the themes are repetitive and as Porter noted, they are often made by new posters to RFM.

They are however, often responded to and engaged by regular posters.

Not very scientific!
