This is another problem this dump has. It believes responses to an attack are equal in nature to the attack itself.
It's like a man punches you in the face, then screams foul when you punch them back.
And whining is your game. I'm just pointing out the obvious.

Whatever happened to turn the other cheek? Don't you believe in Jesus?

It's supremely ironic that JSkains would use his computer and the internet (true marvels of modern science) to warn us about Satan's rule of the scientific world. It must have taken a lot of prayer and a serious girding of his loins to fire up his desktop.
Of course, if Satan was the driving force behind science, I doubt his message would have been posted.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Not only computer and internet, but I can't think of much that affects my life, mostly for the positive, that isn't a result of science. I'm also reminded of the frequent references Hinckley would make regarding the technological advances we see. He seemed to suggest, that although they can be used for evil, they are also quite helpful to us.
let's just say Mr. Skains is wrong. But it is an interesting thought from a faith perspective. How does Satan influence?

Hey Stem!
I'm not sure why some very religious people find science an adversary. Even the Catholic Church has backed off from this stance, recently.

No, it's fine. JSkains probably isn't using software from the Evil Empire (Microsoft), so Satan doesn't haunt his desktop. On the other hand, I'm known to serve two masters: Linux and Microsoft.
But seriously, I don't think JSkains is saying that all science is bad--only that Satan has crept into science in some areas in an attempt to lead us astray whether it be evolution or whatever. I'm not saying I agree, but I don't think JSkains was ever saying that all science is satanic--just that many scientists are deceived by Satan into atheism.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy. eritis sicut dii I support NCMO

I use both PC and Mac in my illustration work. I have to say that I find them both equally Satanic. They both seem to know when I need them the most and crap out at that exact moment.
I haven't tried Linux. I haven't really checked, but I'm not sure if there are versions of my illustration programs that would run on Linux.
You may have guessed that I'm not a believer in Satan (maybe Satan has led me astray because I work in the sciences). I just find the implication that the Devil would have any influence on the advancement of knowledge kind of medieval.

In fairness, without the attribution to Satan, the idea that our reality may not actually be real can be a quite interesting topic of discussion.

Every religious group would have to back off of thikning sience is an adversary. Because as scientific thought and practice continue, it will come out a winner on this--science is "lucky" on this because its dynamic. For faith to survive it'll have to learn to deal with and accept science. I think there are efforts on this front, so of course I'm hopeful.

Why not believe in elves on the moon, even if nobody has yet seen them?
They haven't brought forth a book of scripture for me to ask God about it's truthfulness have they?
Yes, they have, although that book was proven later to be a mistranslation of some Egyptian funerary documents. However, the elves still believe in its truthfulness.
