And lets look at antibaptist, anticatholic, antijewish sites etc to find out about their religious beliefs and practices.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

It's kind of like the Ford dealer. If you want to find out about a ford car you will certainly want to go to Ford, but if you want to find out about all of their problems you will need to go to their competitors or a less biased source like a consumer guide. This is why one needs to check out both sides.
I love when people try to pass this dump off as balanced.
Shades never intended balance. Or he would never have let this place do things like post photos of President Monson in diapers or let people like Scratch post here at all.
But I also agree no board is balanced. I'll never understand some of Mormon Dialog's practices either.

So there are more of one group then another. Who cares. The realty is each poster can have their say, and there are plenty here who try to take a balanced and fair approach about LDS issues. You are just not one of them.

I have yet to see a single poster here take a fair and balanced approach. Certainly you're not one of them at all.

That's true, but I don't think you have seen enough of my posts to know if I try to be fair. I have seen most of yours since you have been posting recently, and they do not seem to be trying to look at things from different perspectives. I think I have defended the church more then once when I have seen inaccurate portrayals of it. Certainly some things we will not agree on.

The nice thing about a place like this is that everyone gets to share their opinions, balanced or not. It's the free exchange of ideas and information that leads to "balance" in terms of being able to sift through the competing ideas and find the true.
I don't feel the need to be "balanced," but I do believe in being fair. If I'm going to critique the LDS church, I am careful to critique the actual teachings of the church. I figure balance comes from people giving the other side of the story and telling me I'm wrong.

Now wait a minute, harmony. I don't think it's right for you to attack someone like Will Schryver for being a misogynist when you seem to be a manhater. Don't you see the problem there?
