Kish, I think you are right. The answer is 'yes.' I wouldn't get near this guy in real life for anything offered in return. Not even a night with Stephanie Seymour. ;)

I beg to differ gramps. A night with Stephanie Seymour? I don't think I'll ever be that old as to think it wouldn't be worth it.

Perhaps I was just a teensy weensy bit over the top on that one?
I detest my loose style and my libertine sentiments. I thank God, who has removed from my eyes the veil...

Look, I'm not a fan of Joseph. I almost never read what he writes. I think he's one of the most bigoted idiotic posters I've ever read. All that said, I don't think Joseph is necessarily wrong nor do I think he's necessarily right about copyright. Since I am not a lawyer, I simply do not know.

ETD: Some things that are true are not very useful when there's the threat of legal action--however dubious it may be. If anyone wants my off-the-record and non-legal opinion on why Joseph may have a point, PM me or meet me in chat.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

Some of them even get permission to use the images.

So why are so many trying the old criminal cry 'everyone does it'?

The worst part here is that the site was shut down by someone who probably does not even have a legal copyright complaint.

That does not excuse theft on the part of others.

Oh, like Joseph.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Don't worry, Simon. Your dishonesty has not resulted in a violation of the host's service agreement.

What dishonesty?

Its OK Simon. Since the posse here has flexed its muscles successfully against William, they're feeling their oats now. It is now felt that any slander, any defamation, and any underhanded smear - no matter how eyeball rolling the irony, fantastic the hypocrisy, or simply mendacious the charge - is fair game and the gloves are off, as are all ethical considerations, to the degree such ever made their appearance in this forum.

Kishkumen's smug, High School clique additudinalizing is just a mask, much like Kevin's foaming polemics, covering the utter lack of substance that become obvious at any point at which he actually engages in an argument as opposed to his usual techinique of put downs and four letter snark.

Simon, I have so many times now that it is entirely unnecessary. Most people here know what I am talking about. I am doing you a favor by not proving the fact yet again. It gives you a little more breathing space, so to speak.

So, your dishonesty about your dishonesty really is stunning, and abundantly proves my point.

Translation: Uhh, well...there was...you know, that time when...uh...uh...oh yeah, that time you, uh...who do you think you are asking me for evidence? Did MsJack need evidence for her 'c' word charge? Of course not. Don't you know how things work around here?

Welcome back, Droopy! I suppose your underwear must have been impregnated with shark repellent, and you managed to swim to a desert island after they threw you overboard.

Hate the posts, but love the poster ... there really is no substitute.
