I don't want you to take it personally, because it is not meant in an unkind way, but this business about your not having time to "friend" your own loved ones and in real life friends before you friend two people on MDB is incredibly suspicious. Feel free to friend me again when you have something approaching a legitimate Facebook page. I will be happy to friend you when the trust you extend to me is equal to the trust I have extended to you. At present, this is horribly lopsided, and I am clearly the one taking all of the risks.

Simon, I'll be honest and say I'm suspicious. But in the end I don't really care. I tried creating my own bogus account called Simon Belmont using your MDB avatar and then friending you, but Facebook got suspicious. I thought it would be good for a laugh and you'd appreciate the joke. Anyhow, I haven't friended anyone on this board except those I know from before this board. There are friends-of-friends settings I just don't want known to some on this board. Also, I don't want some friends of friends to spot me in someone's friendlist.

I find it odd, Simon, that I'm apparently more paranoid about my identity than you are. I have indeed told some posters here what my identity is. I suspect that a few others may know. Yet I refuse to friend people on Facebook. Putting your real name out there puts your family at risk. You never know what some nutjob here could do. Most people here are probably safe, but there are some nutters who may do harm to your family. Putting your in real life information out there for everyone on this board is foolish. I hope, for their sake, that you did lie about your identity.
