One of my wife's friends bought my book. This woman does not like me at all because she thinks I'm an evil apostate, among other things. So, of course, she's outraged that I published the book and told my wife she should demand I pull it out of circulation. Of course, she hadn't actually read it, but I think she was prepared to go medieval on my butt.
Her husband served his mission in Bolivia about 6 years before I did, and his younger brother was in the mission when I arrived in Bolivia. A few years ago, the three of us worked together with the Scouts in our ward in Houston, so we became pretty good friends.
Yesterday, I saw a review on Amazon from "Sandman," my wife's friend's husband, who is a bishop now (in fact, both brothers are bishops); he read the book and loved it. I'm left wondering how a book that a bishop loves can be anti-Mormon and negative.

I went stateside. I read the portion of the book available on Amazon and I kind of get that impression. Also, I couldn't figure out when your mission was. I'm sure the book gives that detail, but if you'd give me a bit of an idea I'd be happy.
Thanks.
