Buffalo wrote:Since it's a joke, why would Peterson object to the joke being perpetuated in a sig line, quoting Will?
I think there's a rather obvious answer, Buffalo. the quote wasn't offered as any sort of joke. It was used by one guy who has repeatedly attempted to paint Peterson as a bad person.
This all is plainly obvious.
Love ya tons, Stem
I ain't nuttin'. don't get all worked up on account of me.

That's right Stem, if Will writes a quote joking about killing Doctor Scratch, obviously Doctor Scratch is the one with the problem. Your logic is sound.
Can't we all just admit what's really going on here, that DCP is a homicidal maniac but he doesn't want anyone to know it? Being an obtuse, attention starved fat-ass is just a cover.
I mean, come on, people! It's so obvious! You people...
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

I didn't say anything about that.

You'd think if Peterson thought the joke could be mistaken for something serious, he would have been very foolish to make the joke in the first place.

Fine. So just because the joke was made that means its cool to exploit comments from another, years later?

Pep pep! If a critic were to make a joke about killing a mopologist, I doubt you'd be criticizing the mopologist for sigging it. How about some balance, stem?

If anyone jokes about killing me, I reserve the right to use the quotes however I wish in years to come. Fair notice, Stem, in case you were tempted! Pep pep!

I'd condemn it. Here's the joking threat: "If you prefer to instead give him what he's got coming, I gots a grinder you may borrow, John."
Its in that thread that this quote surfaced from, written by KA (Kimberly-Anne, i think). Anyway. No one took it seriously. It was a joke. No one's going to use it as a sig. There are no Scratch's on the pro-LDS side. He's one of a kind.
