The bitching exhibited on this board about Will and the celebration about his 'downfall' was perverse. And I am sure that some here where venting their spleen about him to others.

i don't understand what you getting at. do you also find it unfair that exmembers get to drink coffee and beer? no one's forcing you to follow the brethren's counsel to be nice on the internet -- if you find it too demanding you are always free to go your own way.

I think that it is now clear that the apostates believe that they can pick off apologists with their new strategy of moaning and bitching about apologist tone on internet discussion boards.

If believing Hamblin's fantasy narrative makes you happy, you are welcome to it. From my vantage point, all I have seen is an internal fight at BYU. Hamblin said the exact same thing on Kerry Shirts' Facebook page. If he is spinning tall tales about suppressive strategies by so-called "apostates," then he must have decided that this whopper had more mileage than the truth he once frankly acknowledged.

Of course, this fantasy is basically a page from the Mopologetic playbook, in which an apologist contacts the supervisors of some academic to complain about his criticisms of apologetic arguments or some such. So, to see him come up with this tripe about unsubstantiated letters of complaint against him, which, by the way, were entirely unsuccessful, if they ever existed at all, in order to posit this fantastical notion of an orchestrated campaign by the dark forces of apostasy is silly.

This is transparent saber rattling for the sake of starting more empty dramas. It is silliness.

Actually it is now beginning to backfire. Will is becoming a hero as more apostates attack other apologists. The gag is up. We now know that this is a new tactic by the malcontents to attack the LDS church and its defenders. Let the games begin.

This is pathetic. Truely pathetic. It is one thing to slip into ones natural man state and remain doggedly unrepentant while denying all the way ones own words and behaviours - this is William and those who are makinhg him a demigod.

It is quite another thing to slip, and repentant and turn away from ones actions....William has not done this.

What is even more patheric, why me, is that you, hamblin, William, will accuse even faithful members of being apostates simply because that faithful member does support your pet and petty projects.

The bigger shame is that you freely and openly called Bradford an apostate unworthy of temple attendance because he did not do things your way....you should really think about who the real danger is.
