God himself is increasing and progressing in knowledge, power, and dominion, and will do so, worlds without end." Wilford Woodruff, Journal of Discourses Vol. 6:120

Through modern revelation we learn that the universe is filled with vast numbers of intelligences, and we further learn that Elohim is God simply because all of these intelligences honor and sustain Him as such.... But since God 'acquired' the honor and sustaining influence of 'all things' it follows as a corollary that if He should ever do anything to violate the confidence or sense of justice' of these intelligences, they would promptly withdraw their support, and the 'power' of God would disintegrate.... 'He would cease to be God.' Our Heavenly Father can do only those things which the intelligences under Him are voluntarily willing to support Him in accomplishing (The First 2000 Years, pp. 355-356).
Interesting! God has a boss. If God acquired the honor, someone must have given him/ her that honor. Maybe you are worshiping the wrong guy. Maybe God's boss should be receiving all the prayers?
This is the Song that sings to that God, the Evangelic Christian God
I think it's just fine that you find this kind of song inspirational. Personally, I find that christian rock music all sounds the same. As though they are all coping one another.
There seems to be a lack of artistic originality. If you have heard one, you have heard them all.
I like this from an older era. It has a little soul:
I once was at a club in Nashville when they called Willie Rainsford out of the audience to sing a song. He sang "Me and Jesus" accompanying himself on the the piano. He burned the house down. I wish I could have found his version on the web.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Yes Mittens, that is true, but He did not say no more FOREVER! Joseph Smith knew what he was talking about, and as I previously stated, the prophet Ezekiel prophesied that it would occur again during the millennium! When one considers scripture, he must consider ALL related scriptures, or else he will get extremely confused!!!
Nipper, you don't accept the FULL gospel. You only accept the Bible, and apparently you don't accept many things which I have mentioned that even it teaches! You should read the 12th chapter of Numbers where Moses receives a revelation for polygamy to marry another woman. You should also see what the Lord does to Miriam for speaking against it!

The millennium is the Gospel age the one set up in Dan 2:44 durning the period of Jesus first coming and his second coming the "Gospel Age"
Justice = Getting what you deserve Mercy = Not getting what you deserve Grace = Getting what you can never deserve
No Mittens! The millennium is the 1000 year period of Christ's reign with the saints on the earth when Satan is bound! A millennium is a thousand year period, and the period you mentioned is closer to two thousand years! Ezekiel chapter 43 clearly shows that the animal sacrifices will continue again when God will "dwell in the midst of Israel" from the millennium onward, and from verse 11 onward, it describes the altar and the animal sacrifices!!!

Ever hear of symbolism and to God a thousand years is a day

You know, your keyboard has other punctuation besides exclamation points. You should familiarize yourself.

You are still making a baseless assertion. Your post should read:
"Drifting (you handsome devil) since I believe God is a creator and, despite official doctrine to the contrary, unchangable, then I don't believe that He would just stop creating and start sitting on His duff! This is why I believe we are taught to PONDER (note: this doesn't mean apply science and logic and refers only to a spiritual pondering) the scriptures (note: this means the scriptures that the LDS Church officially recognises except the bits of the JST that it isn't comfortable with) and pray for inspiration!"

"One, two, three...let's go shopping!" Thomas S Monson - Prophet, Seer, Revelator
Mittens, I am not talking about symbolism here. It is all through the scriptures concerning the 1000 year period when the saints will reign with Christ after His second coming!
