Why? I don’t know you, and you don’t mean anything to me. It’s your life and your choice to live with.

Very well. Do you know me well enough to say I'm a "crypto-fascists, not conservatives. Anyone who takes up the banner of Bannon or Trump is a compete chump."?

While I'm no Trump apologist, and frankly think his behavior is often unbecoming of a president, I do agree with some of his positions.

One of the reasons he was elected was a large portion of the country, including myself, were tired of being called fascist, racists, homophobes or other "-ist", simply because they disagreed with Hillary, or the left. Remember the "basket of deplorables" comment?

Perhaps your broader point is that Trump and Bannon are not true conservatives? I might be more inclined to agree with that. Frankly, there are few true conservatives in the Republicrat party anymore.

Stupid reason to elect an egregiously unprincipled bastard, but whatever. The ship has sailed.

(I was tired of being called a homophobe, etc..., too, as a conservative. Twas never a reason for me to support that prick.)

Really stupid reason. About as stupid as the excuse/comment/justification that "at least it's not Hillary."

It is quite common for humans to cut off their nose to spite their face.

And when they are entrenched in a death culture, they might even favor that destruction. I did hear conservatives call to "burn it down."

On the basis of what you have seen so far of President Trump, do you think that, by and large and on the whole, Trump is carrying out the duties of the President in a proper and appropriate manner, consistent with the heavy responsibilities of the office he fills?

I said Trump and Bannon are crypto fascists. Yes, they made a chump out of you. Indeed. Resentment of liberals is worse than stupid as a reason to vote for dangerous psychopaths.

I didn't realize the Trump voters were such fragile little snowflakes. I hope it didn't hurt when he grabbed 'em by the pussy.

Water Dog, it seemed you engaged Kish without really having a command of the issue. Understanding something and articulating it well are signs of elitism only to the proudly ignorant. It is truly deplorable that grasping an issue is taken as a sign of elitism; it's a form of cultural rot that is turning us all into basket cases.

I tend to agree. Why couldn't Hillary have used the gentle term "handcarts" instead of the more inflammatory "basket?" Using that basket word could make people vote for a complete narcissistic scallawag in protest.
