Have the Mopologists Begun to Acquiesce on the Book of Abraham?

Hove you guys read or are familiar with the Book of Abraham stuff in
Producing Ancient Scripture: Joseph Smith's Translation Projects in the Development of Mormon Christianity?
There is a lot of good material in there regarding the OP. I know that several of the old school mopologist were furious with some of its content Going so fas as to issue threats and trying to get people fired because of it release.

Nope, I've not had any exposure to the book.

Somehow I doubt there is much in that book that would catch my interest. Anything therein on the missing king's name in Facsimile No. 3 or how Joseph Smith spells Shulem? Anything about the jackal snout being hacked off Anubis's face in Facsimile No. 3 and his headcloth smoothed off in order to reduce him to a slave? Anything about 3000 BC when Egypt was flourishing and how that relates to the false biblical timeline of 2300 BC when Noah's progeny founded Egypt according to chapter one of the Book of Abraham?

Somehow, I don't think there is anything in that expensive book that will catch my eye. But I could be wrong. You never know. Frankly, however, I'm a bit tired of LDS scholars and their poor scholarship and inability to describe the issues and tackle the real problems openly and honestly.
