If anyone was wondering what DARVO looks like…
Um, DARVO?

Thanks Wikipedia:
DARVO (an acronym for "deny, attack, reverse victim and offender") is a reaction that perpetrators of wrongdoing, such as sexual offenders, may display.
Yup, that's MG. Mormon apologetics as a task is doomed to failure, since as exmo Sethbag's sig line on this board used to say:

"I'll tell you a little secret. Mormonism is not only not true, it's obviously not true."

So the blame for MG's failure has to be shifted onto his opponents, by fair means or foul.
Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
Mayan Elephant:
Not only have I denounced the Big Lie, I have denounced the Big lie big lie.

How many senior missions has MG served?
What my wife and I do as we move into our later stages of life is none of your stinkin' business. We are quite comfortable with the service we provide to others in and out of the church and within our family.

We're doing what we should be doing at this time. What the future holds, who knows?

But we surely are not beholden to you, IHQ, or anyone else on a board which is mainly composed of critics looking for anything to criticize when it comes to the LDS church or its leaders/members.

You folks are surprisingly adolescent in your criticisms at times.

Grasping at straws maybe?

Regards,
MG
So, that’s a big fat zero.

President Russell M. Nelson (current LDS Church president) has said:

“We need more senior couples to serve... There is a wide range of opportunities.” - Russell M. Nelson, a prophet that can be ignored by the casually faithful. The tepid, if you will.

Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Why can’t you just comply with the board owner’s specific request? Do you know better than he about what should and what should not be okay on his board?

No interest in continuing this with you. It's just not interesting.

Continue, if you must.
