The above statement is an example of how an evil person (zerinus) throws his fellow mate under the bus. He makes these kinds of broad statements that are utterly asinine. If there is a devil or a Satan, I'd say that zerinus is possessed by an evil and lying spirit.
I wish the standard missionary door approach was about the Explanations of Facsimile No. 3. Let the people see just how dumb the Mormons really are.

Zerinus knows more than David Bokovoy. In fact, earlier in this thread he said he knew more than the General Authorities.
I take great satisfaction knowing his testimony is toast and he's going to kick really hard against the church after he apostatizes.
I know that zerinus will apostatize. I bear you that testimony.
When zerinus does lose his testimony, I hope he comes back to this board and sees it as a place for support. It's one of the things this board can do well.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

He's a young firecracker with a real chip on his shoulder. He'll loose his testimony sooner rather than later. When he comes to the full realization that Joseph Smith was a scoundrel and his church has been lying to him, it's going to weigh heavy on him. I suspect he will come back to this board as a sock and never confess his identity as zerinus. That would be simply too embarrassing. He will want to put that far behind him.

The world of modern science and Egyptology Vs. the dumb Mormons:
"The word Egyptus is considered to be an anachronism in the Book of Abraham among non-Mormon Egyptologists and historians, since the origin of term "Egypt" is believed to have come from another source much later in history from the time of the narrative described in the Book of Abraham. The word "pharaoh" is also considered to be an anachronism in the Book of Abraham for similar reasons."
Joe Smith and his dumb Ghost didn't know jack about ancient Egypt.

Dumb , dumb , dumb, dumb . . . .
Your frustration is showing. You can keep making a fool of yourself for as long as you want, that is okay with me.

What English word Joseph Smith uses to translate what was on the papyrus is beside the point. This is what the “Online Etymology Dictionary” has to say about the origin of the English word “Egypt”:
Online Etymology Dictionary wrote:Egypt
Old English Egipte "the Egyptians," from French Egypte, from Greek Aigyptos "the river Nile, Egypt," from Amarna Hikuptah, corresponding to Egyptian Ha(t)-ka-ptah "temple of the soul of Ptah," the creative god associated with Memphis, the ancient city of Egypt.
Strictly one of the names of Memphis, it was taken by the Greeks as the name of the whole country. The Egyptian name, Kemet, means "black country," possibly in reference to the rich delta soil. The Arabic is Misr, which is derived from Mizraim, the name of a son of Biblical Ham.
Which comes pretty close to what Joseph Smith was using it for. It makes “Egyptus” a suitable English word with which to translate the original, whatever that was. (Emphasis in bold italics added.)
Joseph Smith claimed to have original autographs of Egyptian papyri, some up to 4,000 years old according to the testimony of his companions. The Book of Abraham and the Explanations present fictitious names that masquerade as original Egyptian. They are all wrong. The works of Joseph Smith pollute the memory of the Egyptians and are lies.
Instead, let us honor the true memory of the Egyptians and the ancient land of KEMET. Modern Egyptology to this day continues to honor and respect the entire history of this amazing race and works to ensure accuracy in deciphering the mysteries of this wonderful subject.
I am grateful for modern Egyptology which has worked so hard in restoring the knowledge of ancient Egypt to the human race.
