I am embarrassed. I've lived here for decades but I'm not a native so I had to look it up.

Trivia: On an older version of MDB I once posted a profanity tutorial. Truth.
I must have missed the profanity tutorial.
"Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." Psalm 139:16 ESV
MG, are you really saying Earth System Modeling Framework?
No. I'm saying, "Turn the other cheek". That is, at a certain point let the other person have the final say and simply move on. With certain posters I've been able to get a 'feel' for when the discussion will go downhill/sideways if I continue to engage. I'm not avoiding questions or engagement...I'm trying to avoid the contention that can erupt if we are not careful to try and avoid it.
I've fallen prey to feeding into it at times. It's a waste of my time and the time of good people simply interested in learning something new or hearing a different twist on an issue.

Then, to say the least, it seems that your use of "TTOC" has been rather unsuccessful. As several people have pointed out, simply not continuing to comment, without announcing in a comment that you are not commenting, and/or have nothing further to say, would be a much more effective way to "let the other person have the final say", and "avoid the contention that can erupt if we are not careful to try and avoid it".

I appreciate your input, malkie. Really. But for personal reasons I'm OK with the decision I've made.

Which is to ignore your stated intentions in the OP of your thread “TTOC”. You’re literally not even following your own TTOC protocol.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
