The very same. Actually, I think his temper was a bigger issue with his first wife (they seemed to be totally incompatible) than his later ones.

An excellent article is "Before the Beard: Trials of the Young Joseph F. Smith," by Scott Kenney and published in Sunstone, No. 120 (November 2001), pp. 20-39. I don't know if it can be found online.

Yes, especially in South Central L.A., where Koreans and other South East Asian have to be armed to the teeth just to dare to do business there. In the wake of the L..A. riots, gun stores in this area were alomst cleaned out by people making preperations for the next little cook out.
having thought about it more, I realized that no where in any of the teachings i had received had i been told of ANY independent authority that women would have. Merely that they would be with the husband and having the "privilege" of bearing his infinite young. That i realise this....it doest raise women above concubine status as far as the church is concerned.....
