I assume the members of the Twelve sometimes reveal events of the future they have seen. Are there any recent examples of this?
Have they also then manifested that power to translate ancient documents?

Mosiah 8:13

And the things are called interpreters, and no man can look in them except he be commanded, lest he should look for that he ought not and he should perish. And whosoever is commanded to look in them, the same is called seer.

It seems the Book of Mormon strongly implies a seer has interpretor stones and does interpret.

Not only that. It implies that they are seers because they have been commanded to use them.

So, what have our Seers been commanded to translate in the last 170ish years?
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
