I voted for you, Liz, using my criteria of "Christ-like" which include only the purely good attributes of Christ and don't necessarily involve any acquiesence to commandments or church affiliation. Blixa also embodies those criteria, but I chose Liz because she does so under the onus of being an active member of the church, which hardly encourages the highest qualities of Christ.

I hope that's the "bust out the good label wine Jesus" and not the Mormon "hey turns out Jesus is Nobodaddy of the Old Testament" Jesus.

Either way, though, Lucretia, that's quite a compliment, and though undeserved, something I should try to live up to. Thanks for seeing bits of a better self in me...

I know Simon really does mean well, but sometimes I wish he would leave defending Mormonism on this board to the professionals.

I don't know why little Willy should wish Simon to leave apologetics to the professionals when he isn't willing to do so.

Well, the apologists claim there are no professionals, so I think Will was saying that he wished Simon would leave apologetics on this board to the people who have some ability. If that happened then maybe a handful of apologists would be left, and Will wouldn't be in that number.
