But a believer in what? or rather... who? Certainly not men.

Depends on whether or not they resonate with my worldview. The Gospel according to harmony!

And no, Nathan need not apply.

And where does your worldview come from? If it comes from however you happen to feel then it doesn't make sense to say that you are a believer. You might as well just call yourself an atheist and join a social club rather than continuing to play along with the Mormon dog and pony show.
I'm sorry, but all questions muse be submitted in writing.

Mormon Curtain is a hate site, pure and simple. There is no truth to it. It was made by a Mormon hater who would himself call for the extermination of all Mormons from the world.

Give it a rest. That site is just a collection of a lot of stuff people have posted here and there on the net. Yes, there is a lot of angry stuff, some of it pretty hateful, in my opinion. But no one is calling for the extermination of Mormons.

Jeez, it's stuff like this that really undermines whatever credibility you have.

Runtu, When you take into account the attitude of the site's owner toward Mormons, the picture becomes more complete. Do you read what Infymus posts?

I have never read anything from him that suggests he wants to exterminate Mormons. I've known him for years, and though I don't share his passion and anger (righteous indignation?), I know him to be a kind and giving person, to me and to many people I know.

Does he hate the LDS church? Probably, but you'd have to ask him. Does he want all Mormons dead? That's just silly. Once again, I'm reminded why I generally don't read your posts.

Okay, I doubt he wants all Mormons dead. I do believe he wants the LDS Church dead, though not its people.

"I do believe he wants the LDS Church dead"

*********************************

Hey slimeone, it is LD-S.

Don't forget the hyphen lds-inc added to differentiate the current batch of moronicpriesthood types from the official name Jesus gave by revelation.

Different name, different church but still the same snake oil swindling paid ministry in charge from fat tommy on down.

And that would be a world of difference.

Amen. I was shown "The God Makers" when I was a wee lad of 15 with no apologetic experience and even then I knew "The God Makers" was a lie.

Yeah, it's too bad that not all criticism is as dishonest as The God Makers.

Not a problem. All of them are dishobest in one way or another and therefore easy to defend.

When it comes down to the bottom line, the four books most damaging to Mormonism are:

Bible
Book of Mormon
Doctrine & Covenants
Pearl of Great Price

I've never met another christian who didn't wind up attacking all christianity in the process of trying to use the scriptures to disprove the LDS Church.
