Ah. One so rarely sees it these days. My apologies.

Accepted in the spirit given.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Shades:

If the removal of photos is going to be an issue in the future there should be more mods or administrators. They might not have to do much moderating but be emergency contacts in case of this type of situation in the future.

But I think images have got to be allowed. To hell with the Josephs of the world.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

Unless Joseph is that guy in the next cubicle from you at COB's Cyber Misinformation and Crisis Management Security Operations and both of you need to reinvent yourselves. But I do not think so.

He's not. He's the guy outside looking for cigarette butts in the trash cans.

He purposely refuses to allow the quote feature to work.

OOoh, that's so annoying!

I'm only half serious. There is some intel of unestablished truth that Simon has done contract work for the Church. I suppose it could be true. He is very secretive about the identity of his clients.

Odd. A moment or two ago there was a reply on this thread from Belmont to Kishkumen's statement "Simon works for Church Security as a private contractor", consisting of the two word post

Do I?

Now it's gone.

Anyway, like any attempt to link any aspect of Belmont with reality, you will find this one very slippery. As you will see from the thread linked from my signature, at one stage he told liz that he was the IT Director at Stamford Hospital. Then he told us that he was just

The IT Director for [his] particular department.

Later this morphed into a claim that he was some kind of self-employed consultant working for the hospital.

Parallel nonsense went on about whether anybody could find out who did have titles like 'IT Director' at that hospital, information that Belmont claimed was really, really un-find-outable. That balloon popped after a reference to jigsaw.com.

Frankly, for all I know he cleans the toilets in the COB. But if he wants to say he is really Thomas S. Monson posting here for a lark, I think the best thing to do is to nod, smile, and say "Sure you are".

Can we not discuss Simon, and stay on topic for this thread, please? I'm not in the mood to split.

I'm unsure what that has to do with the topic of the thread, Chap.

In any case, I did reply to Kishkumen with "I do?"

But then I realized that such a comment didn't contribute much to the conversation, so I opted for something different.

Edit: What harmony said.

Yup. You posted this, which was really, really relevant:

But so long as you say nothing about your imaginary life on this thread, we need say no more, and harmony won't have to split any threads.

Since you're so fascinated with me, Chap, here is a thread dedicated to me with a lot of revealing (truthful) information.

In contribution to the thread, I will add that I don't think the "moderated photos" thing will work. It might be asking too much from already hard working moderators. You'd have to employ a lot more moderators for that to work.

I've not been able to keep up with all the drama and threats of lawsuits from SGW, Nemesis, etc. I haven't yet seen a sound legal theory that would be the basis of any lawsuit. Just a lot of hot air being spewed by some very angry and bitter people.

In any event, I would like to offer my law firm's services pro bono if any of these individuals should decide to proceed with a lawsuit. I have 14 highly competent and experienced litigators who handle these types of cases from time to time.

This is a serious offer. Please send me a PM if you need any help.

Thanks again for this great board.

YOU, SIR OR MA'AM, ARE FREAKING AWESOME!!! I sincerely can't express how grateful I am to you for such a kind offer.

Yours is the most awesome post I've read in a long, long time. GOD, HOW I LOVE MORMONDISCUSSIONS.COM!!

I'll be in touch if necessary.
