I think as far as message boards go, even that would be considered some what tame. The problem is he is LDS and that sort of behavior is frowned upon regardless of where it occurs.

One of my dogs is a bitch and I don't care who hears me say it.

Carton:

Have you considered that Schyver's theories have not been published because of the substance of what he has to say, and that he is using a self-imposed ad hominem to distract from alternative reasons of why he may not have been published?

After all, Schryver is the one who never ceases to remind everyone that this is an obscure message board that nobody cares about, which he continually designates as "The Great and Spacious Trailer Park" (a nod to his Christ-like compassion for the working poor). So if this board is so irrelevant and obscure, why would a thread here influence the decision of anyone to publish his methodologically-sound game-changer?

Is Schryver mistaken about the influence of this board, or is he mistaken as to why his theories are not being published?

Maybe so. But J. Golden Kimball was always my favorite Mormon.

I have no idea! I was just going on what sock puppet had posted above about MsJack's thread:

It's an MDB classic that caused NAMIRS to pull back from being willing to publish Will's ground-breaking BoAbr theory paper, the one that was to deep-six the KEP and the problems it poses for the BoAbr.

If that's not really true, then talk to sock puppet. I was just replying to what his post had said-that it was the thread that caused NAMIRS to not publish the paper. That's what I thought was wrong to do. But if that's not what happened, then OK.

Actually, Carton, Sock Puppet is going by what Schryver claims is the reason for his publication being pulled.

Hmm, considering the source, perhaps we should be taking that claim with a lot more skepticism.

jeez you're an idiot. It can be true that no one cares about this place and his posts on this place could have been the cause for Maxwell folks to not publish his paper. Its not literally "nobody". I mean you're a nobody but that's not to be taken literally, DJ.

I think it's unlikely, Stem, that Maxwell would put much weight on Will's posts here. I'm pretty sure it had to do with the quality of his work or the fear of ridicule.
