The profession is fine! I just think he can't handle the physical and mental challenges that go along with it.

I'm a little surprised, Mr Belmont, that you support Everybody Wang Chung in his calling.

Fair play to you.

ReallY?

Everybody Wang Chung,

This is clearly and only your decision.
I will not question, judge, or condemn it.
I will miss your contributions to this community and I hope you will check in on some old friends at the MDB down the road.

Peace to you and yours,
Ceeboo

Agree wholeheartedly.

I don't know him that well. I am proud of him for accepting the calling, though. I hope it changes his view of the church for the better.

TMB has always been an ass. It's that $8.00 per hour construction job he has -- out in the extreme cold or heat, digging in the dirt. It makes him mad at the world, and the LDS church just happens to be an easy target.
Emphasis mine.

You heffing are kidding me, Simon.

For the better of the Church would be good.

Call me Mr Cynical, but is this an attempt at you becoming a different sort of mopologist? Blame it on the minimum wage Mormon, for they know not what they speak?

You rude SOB, Simon. What's wrong with blue collar work? Do you have something against people sweeping up after your sorry mess? If every man was white collar our society would come to a halt within days if not hours.

Nonetheless, I do take some pleasure in watching apologetic Mormons make fools of themselves. President Monson would be sorely displeased with what you said. That's for sure. Infact, if he was on this board you wouldn't have said it. Now, are you ashamed? You should be.

You're covering yourself in a lie. You mentioned $8.00 an hour as if it was an insult. Admit it. It's too obvious to deny. You screwed up.

I think Belmont is engaging in extreme Mopology. A fatal sport.

Does one want a Bishop with eyes wide open? If I were on the Inspiration Committee, that would be my preference. If one can take part in these proceedings and still wish to serve others with love in his heart, then by all means let the angels trumpet his calling.

I've checked the date.
It is 12 Dec
It is not 1 Apr

Apparently, the church is in fallen status. As usual.
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
