But, I do think you have gained from here Ray. Do you really think you haven't at all?
Amen, Blixa!
And, Ray, for the record, even if you say you have not gained anything here, I, for one, am grateful that you decided to post here. I have learned a lot from your perspective and consider you an Internet friend.

The use of the word interrogate. It has a bad connotation like the police, FBI etc. Ask is much more softer and more to the occasion.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

But then again, you haven't been mocked, bashed, name called and attacked as some have. Because you are not a defender of the LDS church, you get free ride here. And that makes all the difference.

When people are in such situations when they see someone like in this story, they react in various of ways usually through shock. The people involved thought that they did the right thing and brother involved did not say call an ambulance. We never know how we react when confronted by an emergency.
You'll forgive me if I would rather take the word of the competent, trained, doctor's and nurses who advised the family afterwards, over your word?

And what does this have to do with what I wrote above? The people involved reacted as best as they could in their circumstances and knowledge. And that was my point. Now if they were doctors and nurses that would be different.

"They best they could" would be to call 911 immediately. Unfortunately they had too much faith in priesthood blessings and probably contributed to the death of a man.
Mormonism kills.

I know the game prettty well. The choice of words just shows where Hal is at in all this. Interrogate is the wrong choice of word meaning to convey something sinister. Ask or question would have been a much better choice of description.

So some poor guys did not react as they should have reacted. But then again, anyone could have called 911 who witnessed the event. And his family could have done so too. But no one did because no one seemed alarmed in the first minutes. As I said, no one knows how they will react in such cases. We all want to believe that we would do the right thing but shock can be a problem.
Your wife wishing to report people that she has known for a while doesn't say much of her opinion of the people involved. I don't think that they denied life saving care because no one offered it. Now if they would have told your wife to get lost...well...that may be something different.

With hindsight, yes, they should have. But with hindsight we can always make a better choice. I think that they never thought to call 911 and no one else did either who were involved and it seems many were before the arrival of the nurse.
It is not Mormonism that kills but the human body. It is fragile.

There is no sinister connotation to an interrogation, unless you're referring to Gitmo, nat strainer.
