Re: Helping Kevin Graham's Unbelief
I want to remind Kevin Graham that the idea of a loving Heavenly Father having to send his Son to die a horrible death just so that he can forgive us our wrongs is insanity. It's just more of the insane murderous acts of the Bible starting with slaying animals for the forgiveness of sins and then by putting God's son on the altar to appease his anger. It's sick and brutal. Dark age!
If there is a loving God, he doesn't need to kill his own children to work love and forgiveness. The Bible is a cult-book based on blood and murder.
Don't hearken to Wade, Kevin. Jesus didn't die for you. Jesus is not coming back. Don't submit yourself to the bloodthirsty ways of Jehovah who was a tyrant in all respects and drank blood like a drunken vampire!
The holy Bible is a book of blood and horrror! Curses on the Bible!!

Chap wrote:What on earth, given his repeatedly exemplified attitude to you and your point of view in a large number of discussions on this board and elsewhere, makes you think that there is the slightest likelihood that Kevin Graham would come to you if he had an issue of religious belief that he wanted to resolve?
Frankly, it is about as likely as the NAACP ringing up the KKK to ask if they know a good public relations firm. Or vice versa.
I can't believe this is not blindingly obvious to you. So why on earth are you wasting your time like this? Masochism? A perverse desire to be able to say one day, under some imaginary circumstances when someone may care about your response "I offered Kevin Graham my help and he rejected it"?
While I have always figured that the chance is extraordinarily thin that Kevin will accept my offer and comply with my instructions, I believe him worth the nominal effort. The first sign that he isn't the least interested, then I am out of here, leaving anyone and everyone to draw their own conclusions about him or me.
Sorry if that isn't dastardly conspiracy some of you keep suspecting, but I trust you can find a way to live with it.
Thanks, -Wade Englund-

I happen to be experienced and successful in the latter. So, if you actually wish to learn about faith, wait patiently for my instructions, and listen humbly with the intent to learn.
Listen, boy, your faith is weak compared to what my faith was. My faith in Mormonism was once so strong that I could look up into the blue sky and deny anything just to keep the church true. There is nothing I wouldn't have done for the Lord. I would have committed murder for the Lord had he asked me. Can you say that your faith is so strong that you'd be like Nephi and Paul O and slay another man because the Spirit said to do it?
You are a worm, Wade. But you're gay and need to be kissed by a man. Come to Dallas and I'll kiss you for the hell of it.

If I felt a need for lessons in how to regain religious faith (presumably you mean in some version of the Abrahamic deity?), which I don't, I happen to be in a place where I have a whole range of people on whom I could call, people for whose intellectual ability I feel some respect, even if I do not share their religious convictions. But even if I did not have that resource, should I need it, I feel no inclination to listen to advice from you.
I have read plenty of your posts, here and elsewhere, and on that basis you are the last person I would ask for advice on anything that was important to me.
I am sorry if that sounds unkind or ungrateful, but I think you are so thick-skinned that you won't feel overmuch distress.

I have seen other examples of your endlessly prolix posting style, a kind of agonizingly prolonged verbal strip-tease that never reveals anything significant - and what little is revealed markedly reduces one's interest in seeing more.
Great! After a number of flailing and counter-productive posts from you over three pages of this thread, it is nice to see you finally decide to tune out.
Once the interfering noise from you subsides, there may be a better chance of productivity, be it ever so slim.
Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Gosh, am I producing interference with the Wade Englund Gospel Hour? In that case I think I may continue to transmit on this frequency. You are more interesting when you get bad-tempered.

You want to save Kevin and I want to save you. Come to Dallas and meet me. I'll kiss you and take you to a gay bar. Then, you can go back to Utah and start a new life.

Have faith, Wade. It will all work out.

The way you chose to measure the strength of your faith tells me much about how little you really understood about faith. And, your subsequent loss of faith confirms this.
Furthermore, your name-calling and false insinuations tell me that it is no longer prudent to read or respond to your posts. Bye.
Thanks, -Wade Englund-

And don't forget for a single second that Wade doesn't know the name of the king written in the writing of Facsimile No. 3. Poor Wade doesn't even know how to answer for Joseph Smith's mistranslations.
