He most certainly was. He posted here the first name of the person whom they believed to be Scratch before Peterson posted it over on Patheos. He believed Pahoran too.

Oh, boy, another fallen to the siren call of Pahoran's innuendo and assumption.

I am distressed when Ray locks arms with Pahoran, because Ray is twice the person Pahoran is.

Maybe shades should consider an anonymous moderator account or two. Perhaps the whole posting as a man or posting as a mod is just to problematic.

I say let's just all get along. Liz, come back. I don't have anybody to complain about if you leave. Scratch, you're always entertaining if not a complete whack job.

LOLOL!!! I may not agree in all the particulars, but I am in accord with the general spirit of this post.
I'll go one further: Come back, Daniel. You are missed. Give us hell right here on MDB.

I don't think we should reproach Ray for falling under the influence of Pahoran.
Pahoran is such a sweet charming guy on the surface, and only those who know him extremely well would ever suspect there might be a hidden hint of malice somewhere in the deep background. Ray just took him at face value, that's all.

That begs the questions: Why is Ray so willing to take any anti-Scratch statement at face value? Why is Ray so willing to taken anything DCP and his minions say at face value?
