That’s the world’s response to these men calling themselves apostles, by the way.
Majority rules, right?
I think the evidence/record seems to show that prophets and apostles have always been rejected by the majority.

...and evidence suggests for good reason.

All you've done is provide evidence supporting the notion that their words and actions are generally not in alignment. Congrats on that.
I would ask the same question of you that I asked of drumdude…”Care to explain?”. If others would prefer this thread go back along the beaten path, just say the word.

"Care to explain?" Not really. I think there are ample discussions on that topic here and elsewhere. Besides, it really is turning into a derail.

Jesus has been accepted by over a billion people over the last 2000 years. Something significant happened there.
Mormonism ranks somewhere between Jehovas Witnesses and 7th day adventists. They also use the same arguments you do. To give legitimacy to their leaders.
And it has always been in the eye of the beholder.

Oh, and I have to denounce the Book of Mormon Musical, too.
Must add that to my honey dew list!
The truly weird thing is that is more historically accurate than the official history of the church, yet it is supposed to be denounced?! Why because a few brainwashed Mormons are offended by the truth? Let them be.
Irk? It is pretty accurate. If it offends people, it's because the way the LDS church conducts itself is offensive.
