I have both those books. They are.... well..... H-U-G-E and have stunningly gorgeous pictures, without a doubt. I have not seen many talk of them, including myself as of yet. It is a modern LDS scholar commentary with Nibley getting the lion's share of attention, so in that respect, it is a regurgitation of Nibley's views, only dressed up with many art pictures, maps, and charts. They are quite gorgeous, yet very unwieldy. Not much of a review of contents I am afraid, I simply have not had the time to actually read through them. Bradshaw being a multi-millionaire (I am supposing), could afford getting something of this gargantuan size published. I suspect very precious few have them, and far less have actually read them at all.

While prepping for the show, Cheryl Bruno told me of her chagrin when she granted the request by Bradshaw to an advance copy of the manuscript only to have him turn around and use it to write an apologetic rebuttal that came out at the same time.

I think Cheryl did not expect this from Bradshaw.

So, he's done this underhanded trick on more than one occasion. Is this a Bradshaw thing, or a wider Interpreter thing?

It’s not a bad thing to have accomplished, successful people associated with an organization. That said, this one should be ashamed of his poor behavior.

It's the Interpreter Foundation, for crying out loud. You know, the zombified form of the deceased FARMS Review. What the Hell did you think would happen when you submitted your work to them??

I don’t think this is accurate, Dr. Shades. My recollection is that Greg Smith wrote yet another one of his patented “hit pieces” about the Mormon Transhumanists, and Cannon caught wind of this prior to the hit piece’s publication and began publicly complaining about it. In an effort to placate him, DCP rather disingenuously told him that he was welcome to submit a response essay, but Cannon never wound up doing that. Hence why, in these latest exchanges, Peterson keeps repeating the refrain about “You could have submitted a response!” Can you imagine such a thing going through Interpreter’s “peer review”?

I repeatedly and directly asked Bradshaw if DCP or anyone else with The Interpreter knew that he had asked for and received an advance reading copy for the purpose of writing a review for The Interpreter. He refused to give an answer. Take from that as you will.

Well, he wouldn’t want to involve his friends in his disreputable behavior, even though their involvement would be so predictable that anything but a direct and full denial leads us to assume they were indeed involved.
