'A gifted writer, with control over his style' ...
How could I resist saying that this is me? But damn! I was not invited to Liz's board. Well, not under my 'Chap' identity, that is ...
(But seriously, think Google, I would say.)

The person who posts as Scratch also posts as someone else, and has for a very long time. And that second "identity" was invited to liz's site all along.
Scratch is a gifted writer, with control over his style. I can easily imagine him pulling it off.
We may never know, but I'd love to know if I'm right. It would be fascinating.
Pretty interesting speculation, beastie, and completely plausible.

I thought that earlier the day took thecafe down, she had said one of her registrants had 'fessed up to her as having turned screenshots of her board over to Dr Scratch, and that this registrant had been de-registered.
So, isn't that the way that the information leaked? Is there a need to speculate otherwise?

I don't remember that, but it seems odd that liz would be asking Scratch who it was now if that were the case.
Maybe Scratch's sock puppet turned it over to Scratch. If only there were another Scratch around to speculate on this. Good times!

Re: A Meltdown of Epic Proportions
Wow... there was a private party at my neighbor's house down the road, and not everyone was invited. I know this because I was asked if I was going to the party, and I knew I was not invited.
How unfair! How ghastly! How humiliating! What if they're talking about me, and I'm not there to say something? What if our neighborhood blatherer is going off unprotested? What if they're having a good time... and I'm not there to make sure no one ever does that?
Gee. That's just.... life. Pisses me off when it happens, yeah, but still... I wouldn't go where I wasn't invited because... gosh... I'm just not that kind of weasel.
And Trixie may have a point. Which is just really mind-boggling. What a joke it would be, if Scratch turns out to be Daniel. Well, maybe joke is the wrong word.

(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Well, Beastie, if this were the case, Liz would probably know. She can see people's IP addresses, after all.

This thread represents clearly another case of Scratch's projection. The epic meltdown is his own, I'd say.

Can you show us where Scratch 'projects' and also where he has a 'melt down?
Thanks

No one confessed. I made a deduction of who I thought it had to be. It turned out I was wrong. All I wanted was the truth. But..as Jason so eloquently put it...I'm not surprised that won't happen.
