Where Midgley, as white Mormon guy dictates to a person of Maori ancestry if they can be Maori.
Gina Colvin does not know enough about the history of the Church of Jesus Christ in New Zealand, or about Maori culture to have an informed opinion on Newton's publications. She was not raised Maori, but has assumed that identity while undergoing the current fashionable complaints about the evils of colonization as she worked on her own PhD in journalism. And she was colonized by essentially post enlightenment skeptical ideologies now fashionable in universities. This ended up turning her against the faith her European mother, who was a ardent convert to the Church, had managed to see that she was raised in.
Further enlightenment, showing ignorance of a concept he should know due to his PhD.
As I suspected Gina was raised by her European mother, and then later, as an adult, identified as a Maori, but she has also been recolonized by secular European ideology that challenges the core of traditional Maori tikanka (traditional culture)
The racist little crap, Louise Midgley, keeps at it with Ms. Colvin:
I have avoided commenting on your response to my remark about Gina Colvin for several reasons. I trust that you are aware that the Stake President in Christchurch wanted me to meet with her husband, and he was very much interested in meeting me. We became instant friends.
You may not realize that Gina Colvin has recently resigned her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ. So she is now both some sort of Anglican lay preacher, and has become a member of the Community of Christ, since its current ideology almost matches her own.
I pity Gina's husband. Like others, I would be delighted to see her return to the faith in which she was brought up by her devout Latter-day Saint European mother. She is a handsome, articulate woman who could, if she would, do much to build the Kingdom of God. However, I see this as a tragedy, in the sense in which one witnesses a drama which generates conflicting emotional responses.
So, how many people does this make that wanted this pugnacious little liar to meet with her husband, who he now claims they became best buddies?
Holy crap this tiny evil Keebler elf has been lying about everything his whole life, and he found the perfect little hollow where he could keep up this nonsense for forty years:

Hmm. And why was it necessary in this context for Midgley to mention that Gina’s mother was ‘European’?
One should note that today, the Sabbath (more or less), is generally considered a day for the Saints to repent, focus on their love of Christ, and participate in Church-related things like... posting a sort of rapid fire hatefest at a perceived enemy on a buddy’s blog. The Midget is currently on a tear hurling abuse at gemli/Gemli on this day, General Conference no less! Perhaps the Tabernacle’s organist’s jazzy solo currently being aired is of little import to the R.L.S..

Poor Midget (as he seems to like to begin some of his rants against Gemli). Science is in the middle of pushing religion aside, yet again, during the corona virus pandemic. Leaders aren't consulting their witch doctors as they used to do way back when and Even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is bending the knee to science in closing everything down. Religious freedom must be under attack, somewhere, somehow. Just look at how no one is looking to religious leaders to solve these problems. What will become of their imaginary God that was conjured up through a charlatan's seer stone so long ago?

“gemli: Please read your comment again. You will see that you posted it without noticing that it needs to be corrected. I assume that you tried to type "my" when you actually typed "by." You seem just a bit rattled this morning.”
While innocuous, it underscores just how oblivious this pugnacious Keebler elf is about his own behavior, posting history, and poor spelling and grammar. He thinks he’s twisting the knife, but doesn’t realize he’s thrust it into his own abdomen and is turning the handle with wild eyes and a cackle.
It appears the blog’s proprietor is similar unmoved by General Conference, and has joined his little sidekick in attacking commenters on his blog. It appears Spike the Bulldog and Turner the Terrier are in rare form this good Sunday morning.
They are going to be in a foul mood for the manufactured spiritual experience in the form of the hosanna shout later today. I bet that shout will be the shout heard around the world, at least according to overly emotional G.A. when reminiscing about the occasion some time in the future.

It's my understanding that the hosanna shout is only done when a temple is dedicated. What was the reason they did this during General Conference?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"
