Well, I made my first post on MAD, expecting to be chastised by the Mods, and I was right! They slapped me on the hand a bit, but didn't ban me after my first post. :)
Here's my post in reply to Loudmouth:
QUOTE(LoudmouthMormon @ Oct 9 2007, 11:30 AM)
Dear Father - In your wisdom, you made us as individuals, but sometimes we get so strung out on our individuality, we start acting stupid. It has dawned on some of us, that you have quite similar advice for many of us, and you figure that a certain set of experiences will benefit quite a bit of us. Some of us are not happy with that, as we wish to think of ourselves not just as individuals, but as individuals posessing such uniqueness, that we need more than a custom-tailored set of experiences and direction, we need it to be totally unique and different than any of our brothers or sisters.
Now don't get me wrong Father, I'm not one of these whiners. I'm content in reading my PB, and knowing that I'm not the only one out there who is supposed to prepare to be a leader, accept callings, or nurture my testimony through study and faith. But I guess I can understand their complaint a little. I mean, what fun is it to hear that you want us to do and be the same thing you want hundreds of your other children to do and be?
Well anyway, thanks for letting me vent. John W has been acting out lately - I think maybe he needs an extra hug or something.
Love,
LM
Dear Father, in Thy wisdom, Thou hast inspired the above poster to go by the moniker of Loudmouth to warn us in advance of his troublesome shortcoming, so that we might either ignore his loud-mouthed posts, or take them with the grain of salt they deserve.
And though Loudmouth is busy employing his robust voice in venting about John's whining, (how funny is that?) I still desire Thee to bless him. Having a loudmouth must be quite the cross to bear, and I ask Thee to use Thy great power to assist him in quieting it.
Perhaps there is some help to be found for him in his Patriarchal Blessing? Or maybe, as he suggested for John, a hug is what he needs?
Thank you, Lord.
Amen.

I'm surprised I didn't get a harsher reaction, really.
