I find it humorous that I read posts in the avatar's voice if I know what it sounds like. James Bond then Ned Flanders and so forth. It's pretty silly.

My avatar is a picture of God. Does God have a deep, James Earl Jones voice or is He more like Pee Wee Herman?

I know not this avatar of which you speak.

I think I chose Dustin Hoffman from "Hook" because I like the look on his face.

Too late for the love generation

I chose mine because I was born 15 years too late to be a Vietnam war protestor.

Mister Scratch, I love your avatar.

I think you ARE God. (Or the devil - either one)

If you can recognize her from her other movies, especially Run Lola Run, you have my eternal respect.

She also played Johnny Depp's 1st girlfriend in "Blow." What an utter babe.

Long ago I describe myself on other bb's as "red pill popper," so incorporating the Neo avatar seemed like a perfect fit.

HUGE PROPS to Sethbag, Scottie, and asbestosman for their impeccably good taste!

Some Schmo wrote:Well, despite my admiration of Shades, let me just say that I'm in passionate hate with Def Leppard. My friends played Hysteria over... and over... and over... and over... well, you get the idea. OMG, I hated that album (except the song Rockit, which wasn't too bad).

Your hatred of Def Leppard is only compensated for by your admiration of me. Although I must admit that you have a good excuse for hating them if the method of your exposure to them was akin to the Chinese Water Torture.

(by the way, it's "Rocket," not "Rock It.")

Well, I first got on the boards (FAIR and MAD) using a photo of Orson Pratt in his later days.

Gramps fit with the picture. Simple.

Now, I thought I would bring the picture a little closer to home. I kept the moniker and added Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., the famous former Supreme Court justice. And one of my favorites to read.

He was a lawyer; I'm one, as well. And it is in his older days, so it fits with gramps.

Simple!
