Of course not! Nobody here has ever really been a Mormon...we don't have the intellect to have been one. YOu know, those Mormons are sooo dang smart!

No, its just that claiming "insider status" is a long and well heeled tradition among anti-Mormons, especially the EVs.

Decker's Ex-Mormons For Jesus group never had but perhaps a half dozen exmormons in the entire organization. So many have told tall tales so often regarding their insider qualifications that this, combined with the ostensibly formatted, urban legend-like qualities of the "standard" exmo exist story, cause one to reflect on the possibilities, sociologically and psychologically speaking.

But, I see this entire subject is pushing proverbial buttons to the proverbial max.

Same as it ever was...as the song goes.

Yes, there are. Why do you ask?

You'll have to be far more specific than that.

The correct answer is "What is wanted?". I am disappointed.

Last time I answered like that I got suspended from MAD.

Coggins,

I thought you mentioned that you had one or two adult children that either did not believe or were completely inactive?

I don't think you would care if your wife told you she did not believe as I thought you also said she has not been active in many years.

I wonder what this means? Here are a couple of options:

1. I never said that I have one or two adult children that either did not believe or were completely inactive, and I never said that my wife has not been active in many years. [Presumably there may be board members who can refer to any relevant posts by C7 if this statement is false].

2. I have in fact said in the past that I have one or two adult children that either did not believe or were completely inactive, and that my wife has not been active in many years, but I decline to comment on this matter any further. [That's quite a reasonable position]

3. As in (1), plus I refuse in general to discuss the religious belief and practice of my family members on an internet discussion board. [Again a reasonable position].

Which one, though? The question does seem relevant, given the nature of C7's posting style.
