Either way, though, Lucretia, that's quite a compliment, and though undeserved, something I should try to live up to. Thanks for seeing bits of a better self in me...
Actually, "my" Jesus isn't based on the Bible/Book of Mormon at all. He's simply an entity of love (no fear), forgiveness (no judgment), etc. ... he would serve the good wine! ... seemingly impossible for we humans to live up to but, hey, if he could do it, I'll give it a half-ass try once in a while.

Now that would be cruel. Pointing out that your affection and boosting for Schryver is misplaced is a service to you. You should be grateful that we saved you from the illusion that your love was somehow requited.

You have to ask: Why did Schryver do this to Simon?

Because Schryver looks out for Schryver. If he judges Simon to be "uncool" then he wants to make sure that everyone knows he feels that way. Otherwise he might risk looking uncool himself.

I think it’s a revenge swipe. Simon has stated he disapproves of Schryver’s comments about women (even though Simon maintained he is well meaning and a good guy). If you are not important in the mopologetic scheme of things and are not 100% for Schryver, then you are against Schryver.
Simon standing firm in his resolve to show respect and behave civilly toward women, might put him on the outs with Will on this subject, but I suspect Will will welcome his support on other issues.
