Did you mean "defend against", or perhaps "refute"?

Mormon Curtain is a hate site, pure and simple. There is no truth to it. It was made by a Mormon hater who would himself call for the extermination of all Mormons from the world.

Give it a rest. That site is just a collection of a lot of stuff people have posted here and there on the net.

Of course you don't say what kind of collection it is. As Simon correctly put it, a hate site.

When it comes down to the bottom line, the four books most damaging to Mormonism are:

Bible
Book of Mormon
Doctrine & Covenants
Pearl of Great Price

I've never met another christian who didn't wind up attacking all christianity in the process of trying to use the scriptures to disprove the LDS Church.

Kinda like mopologists who use the "your holy book is just as bad as my holy book" approach of defending the Book of Mormon. I laugh every time I see it used.

Christianity is a pretty easy target, as is Mormonism, other religions and the boogey man.

And yet you tend to be absent from those thread that actually discuss real criticisms of LDS claims. I guess you just don't want others to know that in reality you cannot defend against many of these legitimate evidences against LDS claims.

What part of "Yes, there is a lot of angry stuff, some of it pretty hateful, in my opinion" did you miss?

That's been my experience with bcspace, too. He says every criticism is dishonest, but when something honest and indisputable is discussed, he generally runs away.

Now wait a minute, harmony. I don't think it's right for you to attack someone like Will Schryver for being a misogynist when you seem to be a manhater. Don't you see the problem there?

Wow, Simon. Is that how desperate you've become to try to find an excuse to exercise your righteous indignation?

I've been exposed to it for decades and have yet a find a criticism that didn't have a lie, an intellectually dishonest assumption, or yellow journalism, or the like. But unless one is willing to do the work, to research the sources, motovations, and compare quotes etc. a newbie is likely to be misled by antiMormon material.

You have yet to finish an argument regarding your so-called "work" to understand it. This includes Brigham Young using "black" while you claim he wasn't referring to skin color (you then ran away). You are by far the most intellectually dishonest person on this board.

This is an outright lie filled with so much manufactured drama it boggles the mind that anyone would take you seriously. The arguments you run away from define your position in your attempted "scholarly" approach to discussing topics. The false witness you present is defined by the truth you must know to concoct reverse-engineered arguments aimed at distorting the truth (facts), and when you fail you'll again tuck tail and run away.

Regarding The Mormon Curtain being a "hate" site, its target audience are Ex-Mormons. If you wish to see examples of the so-called "hate", visit the Introduce yourself forum and see how a Mormon feels once they discover the truth that was hidden from them http://www.exmormonforums.com/viewforum ... 3679d1b2a1 The usual first response of an Ex-Mormon is much anger for being lied to. If that defines "hate" in your opinion, it's because they are angry at people like you who knowingly distort the truth. For example:

Daniel Peterson wrote:Here are three reasons:

1) Most members don't know much about Church history.

2) Mormon artists and their editors are pretty representative, in this sense, of the general membership.

3) Artistic representations of historical events are often quite inaccurate, in and out of the Church.

So Simon, sites that present the Apologist's arguments in a negative light are seen as "hate" by you, and while there is a negative overtone to the material presented at the Mormon Curtain, it is the truth... the truth you knowingly attempt to distort.
