I've not been able to keep up with all the drama and threats of lawsuits from SGW, Nemesis, etc. I haven't yet seen a sound legal theory that would be the basis of any lawsuit. Just a lot of hot air being spewed by some very angry and bitter people.
In any event, I would like to offer my law firm's services pro bono if any of these individuals should decide to proceed with a lawsuit. I have 14 highly competent and experienced litigators who handle these types of cases from time to time.
This is a serious offer. Please send me a PM if you need any help.
Thanks again for this great board.
Straight money. Kudos Everybody Wang Chung. :D

Requesting a hotlink privilege to post a picture of a Birthday Cake or Balloons for another posters birthday, eh?
This sort of makes sense in an era that has six year old boys charged with sexual abuse for kissing a fellow first grader on the cheek. Although I would rather have people of good conscience standing up against both examples of nonsense.
Dr. Shades wrote:In the beginning, our poster Blixa hotlinked an image that she found at the NASA website. "Hotlinking" means to have the image itself appear in a post, even though it's hosted or stored elsewhere, rather than just placing a hyperlink to it that someone has to click on in order to view. Our poster Joseph replied in that thread, asking her if she'd obtained permission from that photo's copyright holder. When she didn't respond, he posted comments to her a couple more times.
Bumping for Shades. When and where did Joseph post comments to me multiple times? I can only find one, right after I posted the photograph. I didn't see it because I have him on ignore. I've not found any others and there were no pm's.

I thought it was twice. If it was only once, then I apologize.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Thanks. I was pretty curious if Joseph had made this claim, or if it was just a mistake. I could only fine one instance, which as I say, I never saw since he's on ignore. And no pm's.

I agree with Blixa's dislike of DMCA. It is a horrible product of the copyright lobby. I actually am kinda curious where Droopy would come down on that. Libertarians, and thus libertarian sources he reads, tend to hate that law and have been lobbying for its repeal since it was passed. Conservative groups tend to like it as it favors established industry interests. Which source is he going to go with?

Please don't mix libertarians with Droopy. He is merely a neocon who wants to seem independent and so abuses the term in hoping no one will notice.
