As an aside, Uncle Dale, you have the best avatar of all time.

I just set the controls of the wayback machine to April 6, 2030,
got out, grabbed a paper hardcopy of the Ensign off the newsrack
of the Deseret Books branch in the City Creek Mall, and brought
its cover back for all to enjoy.

This may get interesting

I've been asked, by more than one person, for my comments
on particular portions of Criddle's on-line presentation.

Needless to say, I do not agree with all that he says or
all the speculation he puts forward --- but I am curious
to see what else he has to say, and how all eight of the
advertised presentation "episodes" fit together.

I'm experimenting with some ways in which I can document
my response to Criddle's various "episodes" and "slides."

Here is one possibility -- if anyone is interested, I'd
be happy to take suggestions on which parts of his on-line
presentation I might respond to, and how best to provide
my own reactions, for interested web viewers.

OMG I love you! by the way, the picture in your avatar is what started me questioning.

I recall thinking once -- decades ago -- "Could Smith really see
objects buried under the ground?" .... and "If he couldn't do that,
then why should anybody believe he could really see "translated"
Nephite records?"

I'm still experimenting with my response to the MormonLeaks site.
