My case in point. This is one reason why Ann may not be wearing garments. People would love to see a little garment. And the mocking would begin. And you may just be one of the mockers,,,,right?
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

Oh, I get it. Ann Romney is violating her temple covenants because she is afraid of her cherished beliefs being mocked. So your theory is that she has done exactly what the people of weak faith did in Lehi's dream. As soon as the people in the great and spacious building start mocking Ann Romney's faith, she lets go of the iron rod.
But why are you now conceding that she wasn't wearing her garments? What happened to the malicious conspiracy to Photoshop her picture to make it look like she wasn't wearing her garments?

I have no idea if she is wearing her garments or not. But I am giving a plausible reason why she may not wear them in public when she is on the road in front of cameras. People would love to see a peak and splash it all over antimormon boards such as this board. Or in the Huffington Post etc. Best to keep it sacred and not risk the public mocking.

It's unfortunate that you are in favor of capitulating to the great and spacious building.
27 And it was filled with people, both old and young, both male and female; and their manner of dress was exceedingly fine; and they were in the attitude of mocking and pointing their fingers towards those who had come at and were partaking of the fruit.
28 And after they had tasted of the fruit they were ashamed, because of those that were scoffing at them; and they fell away into forbidden paths and were lost.
What a waste that the Lord brought forth a gullible farmer, an itinerant school teacher, and a future apostate as witnesses of this holy book whose teachings you reject.

I guess the idea of wearing a longer, more modest skirt in accordance with her sacred temple covenants is out of the question, huh?
And in a letter to priesthood leaders dated 10 October 1988, the First Presidency made the following important statements regarding how the garment should be worn: “Church members who have been clothed with the garment in the temple have made a covenant to wear it throughout their lives. This has been interpreted to mean that it is worn as underclothing both day and night. This sacred covenant is between the member and the Lord. Members should seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to answer for themselves any personal questions about the wearing of the garment. … The promise of protection and blessings is conditioned upon worthiness and faithfulness in keeping the covenant.
“The fundamental principle ought to be to wear the garment and not to find occasions to remove it. Thus, members should not remove either all or part of the garment to work in the yard or to lounge around the home in swimwear or immodest clothing. Nor should they remove it to participate in recreational activities that can reasonably be done with the garment worn properly beneath regular clothing. When the garment must be removed, such as for swimming, it should be restored as soon as possible.
“The principles of modesty and keeping the body appropriately covered are implicit in the covenant and should govern the nature of all clothing worn. Endowed members of the Church wear the garment as a reminder of the sacred covenants they have made with the Lord and also as a protection against temptation and evil. How it is worn is an outward expression of an inward commitment to follow the Savior.”

Here is a novel idea: make temple garments beautiful so people can display them. Don't hide your light under a bushel.

What part of that obvious and easy way to keep her temple covenants does Anne Romney not understand?
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

What part of that simple solution does Why me not understand?
Valient and stalwart Ann Romney, forced to wear hot leather skirts and to reveal her sexy thighs to the world...all in order to keep her sacred covenants from being mocked. How she suffers for her faith.

Well, Ann likes to wear what she wears. It is her style. She is a modern Mormon woman. Why should she change her style? I am sure that when she wasn't in the spotlight she had no problem. But now...she needs to be a tad more careful and she made her choice. The LDS church is not a cult...she is a free spirit. She is my kind of woman.

The funny part of all this is that if Ann was wearing long dresses or skirts, the peanut gallery here would be mocking her and bashing her. But...no such luck for the board. So, they need to hound her about her garments or lack there of. Geez...what a board. Ann wears very hot black shirts and blouses or a becoming white outfit and all heck breaks loose on the board.
I wish Ann was my woman....
