Thanks Nehor. I know I'll sleep a little easier tonight.

One of my, well used to be one of my friends, dusted his feet at me about two years ago. Nothing happened, though I thought it was kind of funny.

My sarcasm meter is going off. Blasted thing must be broken.

The way to be sure that you've made God in your own image is if you believe he despises everyone you dislike.

The sad part is I kind of miss him. We used to talk about this stuff all the time, but I guess he decided he had done all he could for me.

LOL, this is great. I love reading REAL Mormon history from their own diaries.

I love reading real Mormon TEACHINGS from their own manuals and magazines.
(Which are unknown by GBH and are left unanswered by Ch@&|+y.)

And I loathe the term anti-mormon... just as much as Mormons loathe the term cult. There are more classy ways to dispell silly religious dogmas - in my opinion.

I think you're looking too deep into my post. I'm poking fun at Nehor, Bourne, Gaz, Coggins - and the other rabbid TBMS that haunt MDB.

This is only your perception - a perception you and Charity both hold. I know pretty much every detail of your so-called religion, but both of you continue to claim I know little about it. Again, perception. I'm not LDS therefore I therefore cannot *really* understand your religion or feel the Holy Ghost under my nipples testifying to me of the so-called "truth", therefore, I know little about it.

If I were still TBM with as much knowledge as I have, where would I be? As long as I was "in", I'd be accepted, but since I'm "out", suddenly I know very little. The old "You may know, but don't understand" crap. Just because I don't accept the Mormon Cult dogma as truth doesn't mean I don't understand it.

I'll bet you still admit home teachers. I'll bet you haven't persuaded your own household to leave the Church. No? Please correct me if I am wrong.

What is it with you about asking me about home teachers? No, I don't admit HTs - period. If my neighbor, who happens to be a Mo wants to come over and talk - fine, as long as he is not doing so in the capacity as a spy for the Bishop (what the HT and VT is *really* all about). I discuss very little about my personal life with him as none of it is his business and I know anything I say will get back to the so-called "brethren".

My wife has VTs once a month and I always seem to find myself out of the house, or in another room for the entire hour. I have to respect her because a divorce costs more than compromising.

My wife remains Mormon, albiet jack, as we love to play in Wendover or Vegas, enjoy shots of Tequila and Cervzea together and generally have a great time. I'd like to keep it that way. Lucky for me, she is very strong willed and doesn't take any of that Mormon male "authority" crap.

My wife is currently on the rolls of the Cult, but attends perhaps once or twice a year. My children I have refused to allow to be blessed therefore neither are on the rolls and will not be until 18 years of age. I am the only one that has left the Cult and will work diligently to keep my children in the knowledge of how dangerous Mormonism really is.

When my daughter was born, the Mormon Bishop asked me if I was going to have her blessed. I looked at him and asked him how providing for her, loving her, raising her, working a paying job every day, spending almost all my free time with her - was not blessing her enough. I told him it was typical of Mormons to think that a person cannot be "good" unless they are in the Cult, or their perverse meanings of the words "Faith" and "Blessings". He was confused, as most ingrained Cult members are.

As I said to Cog, who has this weird fascination with me and VTs, my wife is wonderfully jack and I love every bit of her. She is extremely strong willed and a wonderful mother. My children are very fortunate to be raised by her. I have worked hard in my career and together our choice was that she stay at home to raise the children - something she has greatly enjoyed.

Over the years since I resigned from the Cult I have healed greatly - even if those here can't fathom it. Our relationship has gotten stronger since, and now that we have an extra 10% income, suddenly we are not struggling to even pay our bills. Since I've been out of the Cult I've gone up over $30k in pay raises - so much for curses, eh?

Wife and I just bought a new house out in West Jordan, smack dab deep in Mo country. I can walk outside to get the mail, shake a tree and five Mormons will fall out asking me if I'd like to know about Joe and his golden plates. /smirk
