To be honest, I really didn't think he was trying to hide anything. His posts were so blatantly PP'ish that I really didn't think anything of it, particularly since I honestly had not really even gone to check the IP.

Moniker had mentioned in a PM to me that Doosh was being rude to her in chat and asked me if PP was, indeed, Doosh. My comment was something like, "it's pretty obvious. You don't even have to check IP's to see that it's him."

That's not an exact quote, but that's pretty much the gist of the conversation, which I'm sure that Moniker can confirm.

Yeah - this is kinda what I thought must have happened, going by all the evidence I was seeing...

Even if Liz had checked the IP, there'd be nothing wrong with a mod checking an IP to try and determine a 'sockpuppet'. It's common for mods to do this on all boards I've ever been on.
You could see the kind of off-hand comment above as a 'breach' I suppose, but honestly - I think it amounts to a storm in a teacup. Both parties 'knew' anyway, and there's no evidence that Liz even checked the IP - so no evidence not to take her word on that.

I - for one - think Liz does a great job around here. As far as I can tell.
And I agree with moksha - the comments about kids goes too far. I know there can be back and forth on this board, but as was pretty unanimously settled on another thread I believe - bringing family and kids into it is out of order.

And if Moniker wants to leave in real life stuff in real life, then that's exactly where it should be left by us too.

I have had complications with my knee again, and have been on pain killers most of the weekend, so to be honest, I'm not all that lucid at the moment. I'm due for surgery in a few weeks.

LIZ. I don't think this would come close to "relieving" you of your duties. You are a person as are we all. I think a lot has been said and people should move on. No harm was done. If doosh really doesn't want to be known then he can make another sock. I doubt greatly that Shades would do such a thing. Unless "relie"f is what you desire but that is your business. This is a forum. No body died. Everyone slips up at times, not necesarly knowingly.
