Don't apologize, Blixa. Everything you said about the hat and the lowrider pants was 100% true.

No, listen to myself and Blixa on this.

Come on...look at Shades taste in music "Wink"? You gotta know there's a problem with his taste, just from that.

What the Hell is wrong with Wink?

For once Shades' and my aesthetics merge: JPop rules (well not every example, but it's a marvelous genre). I am otaku from way back and I've even written on pan-asian popular culture for asian publications so there!

That said, I have not even clicked on the Amy Winehouse thread for fear of what I will find: too much of Shades' tastes diverge from my own to venture there....

The point of the my parents still tell me to pull up my pants and take my hat off at the table comment was to contrast the stereotype I have of male posters here. That was all.

And I have no comment on Wink. Whatever floats your boat.

Good grief, GoodK. Half serious sartorial joking has gotten confused here with other things. And I do apologize for my part in that.

I hope you look past that to see my sincere encouragement to you to live your life, especially in its most intimate parts, outside of conventional notions of human relations.

Its quite alright, Blixa. I appreciate the female POV in regards to my fashion sensibilities. It's been an interesting thread.

But I'm still waiting for Shades to apologize for what he said about Amy.

Doesn't SoCal draw hot women from all over the country....originally looking for acting gigs. Don't you think that the desire for money via acting could easily be transferred to marriage for hire?

That reminds me of something Leykis says, "The closer you are to the ocean the hotter the girls get."

I don't think it would be unrealistic to say that the desire for money via acting has bolstered the sex lives of many rich, powerful, Hollywood producers.

Translation: Loose the hat.

Anyone else want to tell me to take my hat off while I'm here?

To be fair, Utah has some gorgeous girls. But the term "an L.A ten" came about for good reason, I imagine.

I'm not saying that the homegrown girls there are necessarily hotter (they grow em pretty nice in KY by the way ;) but that LA (and probably NY, Miami, a few other places) draw hot girls looking for some sort of celebrity status (modeling, acting) so that one girl comes from a thousand rural towns means there's one thousand extra hotties in SoCal.

Okay, I think the hat is fine -- you're young. I'm not telling you to lose the hat. Yet, for general purposes it's wise to trust Blixa. :)
