DOUBLE YOUR MEDS, and call, err PM me in the morning.
One difference being that I actually know Dan.
Parenthetically, (and I know Dan occasionally jokes in a similar way) I think saying people ought to increase their meds and whatnot is in poor taste given that it helps perpetuate a social stigma against those who really do take medication for behavioral reasons. This isn't something I particularly find funny, either. As long as I'm taling about jokes I don't find funny. I also dislike the word "retarded" as an insult. for what it's worth :)
So then, medicated retards is completely off limits? Or retards on meds? . . .

I know I'm a little late to get in on this thread early, and I haven't read all 5 pages of it, but if it were me, I'd go.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
Just wanted to quickly point out that I meant both the invitation and meeting to remain private unless Scratch didn't mind otherwise. I never wanted to make a big deal out of it, but I suppose Scratch did what Scratch does by creating a thread to get all the folks talking. Thanks for all the people who said they'd take me up on a free lunch, you bunch of freeloaders!
[apologies to any actual freeloaders out there, no offense intended, of course,]

Oh, don't get me wrong, LoaP---I appreciate a friendly gesture. That said, I found it incredibly odd to find a PM in my Inbox from the guy who had been characterizing me as "mentally unstable," "insane," "creepy," and a "stalker" for...well, months, I guess.
So, I appeal to the other folks on the board: How should I respond to such a gesture? On the one hand, it seems quite friendly and nice. On the other hand, why the two-facedness from LoaP? I am just curious what others think.
Free food Trump's all. You can always have it boxed up to take home if you don't like the company.

I like the way you think, BC. On the other hand, DCP and The Nehor have both stated that they would like to shed my blood. And I know that there are countless other Mopologists who want me to suffer in some way, shape, or form. So, to a certain extent, the question is: Can I trust LifeOnaPlate? The answer is clearly, "No." LoaP doesn't understand how the LDS Church and LDS apologetics can hurt people (although I admit he does seem to be learning), and until he does, I can assure him that there will be no "lunch."

Amen! by the way, we must do lunch soon. I know a great take-out place.
