I have a bachelor degree in History. I graduated from FSU in 2007. Don't ask me what I have done with it. I would really like to get a master's later on, maybe teach college, but my life is a bit to hectic for that at the moment.

Our Varsity basketball team in high school used to have a chant before each game, you know, when everyone puts their hands in the circle and say "go team!" or whatever. We used to say "FSU!"
Our coaches didn't learn until way into the season that we were really saying "“F” crap up!" and weren't just emulating Florida State.

I would suspect that someone from Pensacola that refers to FSU means Florida State U.
